David Hare

After graduating from Exeter University in 1986, David started working in television the traditional way as a runner for a Wardour Street production company. Four years later, and after a variety of jobs in television, he set up his own production company and has been an independent producer ever since, specialising in travel and food programmes, and historical documentaries. David lives in Co Kerry in Ireland with his family.  In 2022 his first book, ’The Great Lighthouses of Ireland’ was published and in 2024 a children’s lighthouse encyclopaedia will be published.
